Bandai has released the first official images for their upcoming Thundercats figures. They sent out an announcement stating that the new figures will be shown off at the upcoming U.S. Toy Fair 2011.

ThunderCats 4” Basic Figure – Lion-O

Crafted with great detail and quality, collectors and kids can play with or display their favorite ThunderCats heroes and villains in their own environment and recreate scenes from the animated television series. Each 4-inch figure comes with a weapon and/or accessory that is unique to each character and includes an exclusive embedded magnet activation system that allows the figure to interact with and activate unique features in multiple ThunderCats products, including the Deluxe ThunderTank.

ThunderCats Deluxe Vehicle with Figure

Storm into battle with the Deluxe ThunderTank and 4-inch Snarf Figure. Kids’ favorite ThunderCats figure can ride inside and unlock special ThunderTank features, including ―ThunderCats, Ho!‖ sound effects, with an exclusive embedded magnet technology.     kinda loving the snarf design, intrigued by the trhubder tank npackackaging though. somewhere between european packaging but with only one language repeated 3 times. Have to say though, Cheetara is less hot this time round...

    The 8-inch line is the "classic" line right? Why doesn't Cheetara look classic? It doesn't look like classic or new. No idea what that photo is all about but its got me nervous for the so-called "classic" line.

    edit: nvm. I think I was looking at the wrong thing.

    Bandai was clearly the wrong choice for these figures. They look like total @$$!! Hope they look better in hand :S
