Original Thundercats Marathon Episodes Revealed

Last week we shared that there would be a classic Thundercats cartoon marathon a few weeks before Thundercats 2011 premiered. Well we have the official listing of the episodes for the two day Marathon on July 16-17 on Boomerang.

Saturday July 16, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM EST

• Lord of the Snows
• The Spaceship Beneath the Sands
• The Astral Prison
• Safari Joe

Sunday July 17, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST

• Feliner part 2
• The Ghost Warrior
• Lion-O’s Annoitment First Day: Trial of Strength
• Lion-O’s Annoitment Second Day: The Trial of Speed
• Lion-O’s Annoitment Third Day: Trial of Cunning
• Lion-O’s Annoitment Fourth Day: The Trial of Mind Power
• Lion-O’s Annoitment Final Day: The Trial of Evil

As a reminder, Boomerang will then begin to air Thundercats weekly starting Monday, July18 at 5:00 PM EST.

    I would watch all of these episodes...if I had Boomerang. Oh well, I'll probably end-up buying them on DVD anyways (I'm hoping that they do a box-set at some point).

    It's an interesting choice of episodes. The first few episodes, and episodes that establish either big changes in the storyline (Mutants getting their weapons back, Lion-O's annointment) or introduce Lion-O's strongest opponents (Safari Joe, Grune, Ratar-O).
