- Thundercats Released
Press Release: Thundercats Toys In Stores Now
Good to know. I'll have to keep an eye out for them the next time I'm out. Kinda funny how the 6" figures aren't mentioned at all. As much as I'm looking forward to the Classic figures, I'll probably get some of the 4" figures first. At the very least I'll get the 4" Lion-O.
I'm still not sold on the Thundertank. Really, if it wasn't for Snarf, I wouldn't have an issue skipping it entirely. I'm hoping he gets released again at a smaller price point.
My toys r us says they are expecting a shipment friday.
Checked three stores today. No luck.
I tired 2 as well, no luck. The goofy kid that worked there said "I think they come out in October..."
I'm checking my local TRU tomorrow.
Yea, a buddy of mine who works in TRU said they should have them on the truck tonight and on the shelf tomorrow. I know where i'll be at 9:30am!
Cool stuff. I'll swing by after work today and see what I can find.
I hit my TRU at 9:30 sharp, nothing!
Guy on the floor seemed to know what he was talking about & said the whole truck was packed out, deff no Thundercats.
Going to try a few more TRUs today!
Anyone have luck?
Yeah, nothing at 2 TRU's that I checked. Maybe they're waiting until Aug 1st?
I honestly would not expect to find anything at retail until stores get around to doing their new toy modulars (Target is supposed to be next week, Walmart will do it whenever they get around to it)
Nothing when I checked today. Sorry Bandai, no one stocked your toys.
I honestly don't expect to see anything for at least a week or so, which is why I've refrained from going out and doing some hunting. When they do it, it'll be interesting to see how well stores decide to stock them. I'm hoping they end-up stocked pretty well, and that they don't get overshadowed by other action figure lines.
BBTS hasn't gotten the figures in stock yet, and toysrus.com doesn't have them available to ship, so it seems they aren't out quite yet
Bandai seems to know they want my money, why don't any of the stores realize this?

This guy has the ThunderTank and Lizard Cannon the description says slight shelf wear. I wonder if he bought these from a store?
Staff Edit - fixed links.
I have gotten new thundercats via ups off of the toys r us site, target and amazon. Just missing tower of omens. You have to keep checking the sites, especially toys r us their status for figures have changed several time in the last week from out of stock to in stock to out of again.
I guess I keep hitting TRU's website at all the wrong times, cause it's said "out of stock for shipping" each and every time I've gone there.
I dont see ANY on target.com
amazon.com seems to have them all marked up to crazy prices
toysrus.com says they're not in stock still for shipping
I'm betting Scalpers are gonna buy them all up before we ever see any of them on shelves.

I wouldn't lie to you guys...last week these sites were changing all the time...the day after I bought the sdcc lion o, toys r us put 2011 figures up....I think kmart has them for sale now. There are some on amazon that are not crazy over priced unless they r all gone...haven't been there for a few days...last week was the time guys...sorry.
Target had as may as 19 different kinds of thundercats items...now I think only 5...it was like that for bout 60 mins then they were gone
They won't be sold at target... the toy designer at comic con told me that target passed on thundercats. Which I thought was surprising. They only have the dvds of the original series.
She also informed me 3 weeks from comic con they would be in stores. I was able to snag a Lion-O and a Tygra from her... just answered some trivia. and she was handing some out.... but you had to answer the question correctly... my question was, what is the name of the sword?

Dunno what to say to the target comment I bought some off their website. They were definatley there. I think they are going to carry them...I could be wrong. Walmart is listed as a seller on the bandai site and they don't have them online at all. Not arguing just saying I have them here at my house. Targewe has the online retailer that had the tower of omens listed
Nothing
And I have been looking since Thursday.
Talk to the guys at TRU and they don't know squat.
I am happy though cause I received my SDCC Lion-O figure today. If you are on the fence about getting the Classics figures-don't be. They are AWESOME!
Nothing in North or South Jersey.
Kmart.com has them and in stock
I've heard in the past that people got the wrong items when ordering from kmart.com (GI Joe stuff)
Not sure I'd go with buying from their site
Yeah...I don't trust Kmart at all.
Nope. Absolutely nothing even related.
What stores?
I agreed with the others...Kmart has horrible shipping. Take a chance and let us know how your experience turns out.
Thing with Kmart is, if you order any individual figures, you'll never know what you'll get. They may list individual figures, but they sell by case assortment.
sig check
Gonna check TRU later today.
what did Bandai say?
they gonna be only at TRU? what about like Wally?
sucks that Target won't be getting them.
Kmart.com is operated by the Nazis lol. I find it funny that Target passed on having the new Thundercat toys in their stores. They seem to carry most Bandai toys too. Guess I only have the one Toys R Us and 3 Walmarts near me that I can check. My guess is that this week online stores and non-online stores will be getting them. I'm not one for collecting 4" inch figures but I may just get the basic Thundercat characters. Only want Lion-O in the 6" inch line. The deluxe sword of omens is a must buy for me. Thing is at Comic Con the poster that had the deluxe on it had November 2011 on it so it may not be coming out until then while most online places are showing a August release date. Also it kind of sucks that the only way you can get Snarf is buying the ThunderTank which is $29.99. Oh well good luck to anyone who is trying to find them this week.
Do NOT order from Kmart.com! I spent a month going back and forth with them trying to order 7 new Captain America and Thor figures a while back and they sent me the wrong figures twice, with me explaining the UPC numbers didn't match up with their inventory numbers, and both times they assured me the problem was fixed. The THIRD time I ordered the products, they sent me an email saying they were sorry but that the products were mis-labeled and NONE of the items were in stock. All of the items are still currently "In Stock" on their website. They're finks, and when they refunded my money they gave me back less than I paid and when I tried to get all my money back they wanted me to jump through all sorts of hoops. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

And no Thundercats toys 'round here
But they are stuffed to the gills with the peg warming Green lantern, Iron Man, Thor, Tron, and zhu zhu pets.
Thundercats?
Oh no sir, we're not taking the chance on those!

not even sure if it's gonna be available in the UK..
i think i have read somewhere that it's gonna be available sometime in december though..man!!!!! I can't wait that long!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Checked one TRU just a little while ago. They have squat in terms of ThunderCats. It wasn't a total waste of a trip. I was able to find Player Select Ryu Hayabusa.
Otherwise no TC figs yet.
I found 6" panthro mummra, and lion-o and the tank at a local comic book store this afternoon in Ottawa, Canada.
I dont know who started the Target rumor but Target IS carrying them. There are DPCI #s and everything so its 100% for sure they will have them.
I too got in my SDCC Lion O yesterday and man, I can't wait to really start building my Thundercats Collection again! I've been hitting my TRU's since Friday to no avail. New truck comes in tonight and I will be trying again tomorrow.
I can't wait to find these. I'll check a little later today.
