I'm sticking to the 4" scale (I think 6" Mumm-ra fits in just fine). I'd certainly pick up the classics if they were made in the 4" scale, but I don't see that happening.

I have a set of the 8" Classics (both Lion-O and Tygra) coming to me courtesy of Entertainment Earth, but I just picked up a spare Classics Tygra yesterday at TRU. Next time I come across a Classics Lion-O in store (passed two up last Saturday) I'll grab another as I want two of each.
The Classics line is really all I'm interested in...I have no interest in the new show or its accompanying merchandise. Much of what fuels my collecting ambition is nostalgia and obviously, the new show harbors nothing of the sort.
My daughter will be celebrating her 8th birthday on the 31st and has asked for the Dlx Sword of Omens so we'll have fun messing around with that. We've been watching the original series together on DVD and she loves it. She really wants a Classic Cheetara figure and is always running around humming the theme song or yelling "thundercats hooooooo!". LOL. That's my girl!

My 4 year old son got the 2nd Lion-O for positive behavior during a LONG trip to the unemployment office the other day! He's loving it A LOT but can't wait for "Santa" to bring him a Sword of Omens for himself.
Unlike the guy asking Wal-Mart to start stocking their shelves, I'm begging the other stores in my area (Meijer & Target) to start stocking them. My local Wal-mart is putting out new stuff almost daily! Just need the Panthro to drive the tank. Oh & I was also thinking about the 6" Mumm-ra just haven't gotten to him yet. Figure there's plenty of time.

I'm trying to hold out from getting the cartoon figures for money saving purposes, but I can't refrain from getting the classics figures as soon as I see them.
As far as the figures go, I've picked up everything but the 4" deluxe and the Tower of Omens playset. Not sold on the Tower of Omens. It would be cool if I had a son, but all girls, so far. I'm still holding out hope, so I still may pick it up.. lol.

Eventually I do plan on picking up two tygra bike expansions for the thundertank. I don't really like the Lion-O drill blaster pack and would rather have the two laser lights with tygra. That's where I'll be storing Snarf, and maybe the kidtens anyway though I suspect that 4'' tygra basic may fit in it still since he doesn't have the shoulder armor of lion-O.
My display of them has everyone in front of the thundertank, with panthro driving. All excess weapons and stuff they aren't holding go in the thundertank trunk. Then I have mummra flying/standing atop the rear of the thundertank. (The thundertank is so big it doesn't leave much room for behind it with a character in front, and viceversa. So when I expand it with bikes, that's how I'll start to alleviate the display stress on space it causes. Not that I mind, I love the fact that it's massive!)
