Bandai UK Confirms What’s Coming In December

Over at the Bandai UK Twitter Feed, they have confirmed exactly what our UK fans can expect this December when the Thundercats toys launch.

On the 4″ figures:
ThunderCats toys will be hitting the shelves beginning of December in the UK , these are the toys with Thunder Lynx function.

On the other figures:
6″ and classic are included as well

Confirmation of vehicles:
the 10cm figures have high detail and articulation + work with other vehicles thanks to #ThunderLynx we hope you enjoy them!

    First time poster, Long time lurker.

    I have received a reply from Bandai UK about the release date of the figures:

    Thank you for your enquiry

    Bandai UK will launch Thundercats from 1/12/2011 in the UK.

    December? Wow, that is a long wait. But at least we have official confirmation they are making it over there.

    Yeah, decided this morning to send the mail and ask. Lo, and behold, when i returned home from work, there was the reply.

    I am kinda hoping that they take off like Ben 10 over here, because that is mental. From what I understand, Ben 10 is bigger on this side of the pond.

    Being from U.S.A. Do these uk and other country toys look the same? or is it just the wording on the packaging that changes? i mean why the big wait? toys should b like a tv, that includes english, spanish, french, chinse ect, I never understood why these other plces get stuff months after we do. but im glad they get sumthing. so thats kool

    Could be a number of reasons. Licensing is probably the key here. Licensed properties like this have to be negotiated on a "per territory" basis.

    Imagin if they said no or like, didnt aprove of these toys or watever? man that would piss alot of people off over there, lol surly they can order em online but it suxs when ur own country, or state , doesnt aprove of sumthing u want/like.

    I have just received confirmation as to the reason behind the wait for us here in the UK,

    'We are sorry but this is the earliest we can get stock into the UK and launch across all retailers.
