Kregermeister says
Rankin/Bass reference!! AWESOME! But it looks like a crappy episode.
hollowdheart says
Looks boring.
Balgus82 says
doesn't look like it'll be a bad episode. Just really out of place with the last few. But it screams filler.
and lol @ "rankinbass"

I dunno, it doesn't look bad, but I'm not a huge fan of Thunderkitten-only episodes. My favorite parts of "Survival of the Fittest" was their interaction between Panthro and Cheetara. I've no doubt we'll get to see them at some point in the show, but I'd much rather find out how Pumyra and Lion-O are doing at this point than the Kittens playing "Oliver Twist" with a raccoon.
hollowdheart says
I hope the Aesop isn't cheesy or stupid....and i still don't get what SotF's was supposed to be. And Tookit seems kinda...creepy with all those orphans in his forever bag.
CreepySariFan says
I loved old ThunderCats for all the Kitten's shenanigans, this one looks like quite the treat! Bring it on!

Sweet, It looks like I can sleep in this weekend. I didn't like tookit the first time around
AlexofThundera says
Eh put me in the minority then cause I am actually looking forward to it lol.
And Rankin Bass!! That is awesome!!

I wonder what they will eventually hide in the bag.....
Sining says
meh, filler -_-
Mum Star says
Probably going to be a lighter episode before they kick off the end of season serousness.
Shadowknight1 says
Hmmm...a raccoon thief with a bag of infinite holding...sounds like a character from a D&D campaign.
Balgus82 says
Are those....Everlasting Gobstoppers? Wonka's going to have a pure fit that his recipe got out.
JASONKAT says
Im starting to love the wilys way more than the rest of the TCS Theres way to much love and hate drama going on between them.
Wily kit & wily kat on the other hand, seem more fun, they can make me cry, they can make me laugh, they can make me smile. in the end... they seem to b the most realistic cats from the group. and snarf omg how i hated the 80s version. this1 is way cuter, never talks, is never annoying, and seems to fit in just fine.
vantheman77 says
Now we can see why it's called Forever Bag as that bag contains a pocket dimension inside. Nice reference to Rankin/Bass.
I think this likely takes place during Curse of Ratilla and Birth of the Blade. I hope Lion-O and the rest of the Thundercats are in this episode at the end and have the twins meet Pumyra.
JASONKAT says
In the first clip (above)..
wouldnt that be a mistake? the lil fox tells the wily's they need to say the magic word in order for the sac to open. the wily's then both say it at the same time as they get ready to jump in but snarf never says it, he cant even talk sum how he jumps in too.
So either thats an error or you dont have to say the magic word and just be ready to jump in on sum1 elses liner.

Or it could be that you really don't need to say the magic word and Tookit was just messing with them.
Anyway I was more confused at how Snarf seemed scared as hell and then immediately jumped into the bag without hesitation. "Bag! So scary! Keep it away!" *jump*

Kit seems being not well drawn this time or are my mind playing tricks?
JASONKAT says
It seemd as if somebody else drew them or something cause kit & kat loked kinda porky or diff. ""less cuter"

After all, every episode takes about 6 months to animate, so they definitely have several episodes going at a time.
Personally, I have no issues with the way the Kittens look in the previews.

What a treat this episode was. A great continuity story that was fun and intriguing. How refreshing to have a cartoon show that follows a sequence and you dont have to guess when and where it happened. Please take note Renegades and Clone Wars.

I'm calling it now. That bag is going to be how Grune comes back in the future. The whole being tied to the astral plane part just screams it.
Thunderian scholar says
fun episode I liked the way how their actions reminded them who they are: Thundercats.

Nekomen says
I think it's going to be interesting to see how the long duration in the astral plane has changed grune though. Probably make him more akin to his classic spirit form self type powers. So I'm not sure what that'd do to Panthro's arms.
I do see that coming eventually though. They did outright say there is no filler in this show. Everything has a purpose, reason, or motivation behind it. So for something that seems like just pure character spotlight exposition filler like a two part one off adventure means it's going to be tied to something much bigger later.
Makes sense too. Two episode focus for something that'd bring a major classic entity back. One episode for setup. Second episode for reveal of the tie-in to the astral plane, which they conveniently kept and will take back to the cats. So that means lots of potential to use. Even outside of bringing Grune back. I'd bet that bag will be their new tool for an ep or two until that danger of Grune is revealed during a usage.
Also gotta love the mild tongue in cheek sly cooper vibes.
Tookit's name even fits as a classic naming convention throwback nod lol.
They took it from Tookit!
Sportsandstuff says
I enjoyed the episode even watched it twice lol sure its kinda out of the usual storyline but liked it
test says
I know im a classic thundercat fan but I loved this episode and Tookit is fast becoming one of my favourite modern characters ...... he's got the whole loveable rogue thing about him and the pin appearing right at the end was just genius as I had completely forgotten he stole it by that point lol
