Some Concept Art From Dan Norton

Posted on August 7, 2012 at 9:33 am by Joe Moore under Thundercats Cartoon News

I’m sure many of you have already seen most, if not all of these images. But right now, what else are we going to report on? Thundercats Art Director Dan Norton has always updated his Deviant Art Gallery with concept art. Since the last time we reported on his updates, he’s added a lot more. Including alternate outfit concepts and never used characters. Even some concepts he pitched to Wildstorm, years ago, for their comic.

We’ve mirrored a bunch of them, but you can check out the rest at his Gallery.

Some really great concept art of Dan's. Would be great to see a book of it released. Though I would settle for a continuation of the show...lol...

Makes me wonder what this show's Ma-Mutt would look like.

So many of them, and there's more??? These were great. Glad they went with the designs that were used in the series for many of them...some of the concepts were good, but I think they went with the best choices for each character.

One of those necromech's looked very TF'ish.

    Amazing workbook!
