Mezco Is Continuing The Mega Scale Thundercats With Tygra!

Posted on February 6, 2015 at 12:49 pm by Joe Moore under Thundercats Toy News

We were invited out to a Mezco Pre-Toy Fair Event today. At the event, they announced the release of a Thundercats Mega Scale Tygra! That’s right, we’re going to be one step closer to finishing the line up of 14″ Classic Thundercats!

We also found at that Mezco has the ability to do Thundercats in their One:12 Collective 6″ Scale Figure lineup. they don’t have any current plans to do so, but the ability, if they so desire, is there.

Check out the announcement artwork after the jump.

We will have a hands on preview of the One:12 Collective Batman. The thing is top notch so far.

I hope that Lawmaster is sold separately. I've already ordered a Dredd and I'd really rather not have to buy another just to get the bike.

I still want that Batman exclusive (blue cape, original chest emblem, first on the left). Wish Mezco would offer that variant through a ToyArk sponsor.

Wow really mixing it up with the MK character selection! I could be interested though, I likes me some Kombat action.

I wonder whether there's any chance they might get the license for some 4" or 6" Thundercats, if they can get more than 2 figures out they're already doing better than Bandai.

Wit the Mortal Kombat stuff, they're trying to create parity in the scales. they don't want fans of one scale to feel like they're missing out on a specific character. From the sounds of it, if they release a character in one scale, they want it to be available in all three scales.

Is the DKR Mutant Leader coming in Summer or Fall?

The nipples on that DKR Mutant Leader, while true to the comic, are nonetheless disturbing the shit out of me.

That Dredd and Lawmaster, however...SWEET. Day one.

Sounds fair. I really hope they can put out a good female buck for Kitana/Mileena/Jade, and I hope that they're MK2 era costumes because, you know, kids look at my toys once in a while.

For TDKR figures it would be epic if we got a exo-suit batman and superman

Wow! Those 4" MK figures are some of the best sculpts for that line I've seen. I wonder how the articulation is?

Those MK figures are awesome! I was so glad when I find out that Mezco got this license. MK has had some of the worst luck with these toy companies. I think they finally are in the right hands. I really hope they make a Shao Kahn and some other classic characters. Guess I'll throw my Jazwares figures away

They said the 6 inch will have a full range of articulation, they should be able to do all the poses seen in the game. I am not 100% on whether that statement applied to the 4 inch, but I'd assume they have a bit less. Not 100% either way tho, will try to find out.
