Two bits of good news for UK Thundercats fans in one day. I like this trend. Forum member Panthro UK has let us know that Bandai UK is confirming a release date for Thundercats Toys. They expected release day is December 1, 2011. While it is unfortunate our friends across the pond have to wait, at least we know how long the wait will be.
UK Thundercats fans, this update is just for you. Empire Present BIG SCREEN has one amazing event planned for Thundercats fans in and around London. They will be showing the premiere of Thundercats 2011 on the big screen! It takes place Friday, August 12.
Friday in Cineworld Screen 2, 1.45 – 2.30pm European premiere of the brand-new Thundercats TV show at the BIG SCREEN
BIG SCREEN will play host to the European premiere of the pilot episode of the new animated series, ThunderCats, as part of Friday’s Cartoon Network presentation. The Cartoon Network presentation takes place on Friday, at 1.45pm, in Cineworld Cinema 2.

Well that was fast. TV Shows On DVD has posted a press release from Warner Home Video announcing the Thundercats Season One – Book One 2-Disc DVD Set. The set is scheduled for release October 18, 2011 at a MSRP of $19.97. Included is an announcement trailer.
