Kevin Michael Richardson, currently the voice of Bulkhead in Transformers: Prime, has revealed to MTV News that he is voicing Panthro in the Thundercats 2011 Cartoon! Not only that, he let slip that Will Friedle will be voicing Lion-O! Movie Trailers – Movies Blog

“I love Panthro, so to play him, yeah I’m very very happy,” Richardson told MTV News. “The state of the art animation they have today is… That’s exactly what it is — state of the art.”

“The cast is fantastic,” he said. “Will Friedle as Lion-O and some other people who I want to keep anonymous at the moment. It’s up to the times, it’s a lot cooler, it’s going to move a little faster, and the special effects and the direction and the acting are just superb.”

On a personal note, Richardson was a no brainer for Panthro. The cast is coming together fans. More info as it becomes available.

Discussion – Should The 2011 Thundercats Leave Thundera

Posted on March 1, 2011 at 10:39 am by Joe Moore under Thundercats Cartoon News

The Thundercats 2011 Cartoon is clearly going its own direction. The Thundercats appear to be staying on Thundera, at least in the early going. But with this being a new continuity, is there even a need for the writers to force them to leave Thundera? How would you feel if the entire series took place solely on the Thundercats‘ home planet?
