We finally have out first detailed in and out of package photos of the upcoming Thundercats 2011 Lion-O 6″ Figure. The images come courtesy of forum member LiarDice Films. Please keep in mind this is the larger deluxe version of the figure, as there will be a 4″ version available as well. On one of the photos you can see a “Snaptag” on the side of the package, which you can use your cellphone to access online content from Bandai’s Thundercats Website.

Thundercats.ws Forum Member LiarDice Films was kind enough to share some photos of the upcoming Thundercats Classics Tygra. The figure is due out at the end of the month, and looks to be worth the wait.

Bandai has updated with an official Thundercats 2011 website featuring their all new line of modern and classic Thundercats toys.
It looks like they will have news, custom wallpapers, tv spots, features for all the toys, and even a spot for collectors.

On Thursday, July 21, from 10 to 11:30 am, Spawn® creator and renowned toy designer Todd McFarlane of McFarlane Toys will be available to sign autographs in celebration of the Toys“R”Us San Diego Comic-Con debut of the Halo “Master Chief Platinum” action figure. *
On Friday, July 22, from 5 – 7 pm, Larry Kenney, who voiced the Lion-O in the classic ThunderCats® animated series will be available to sign autographs of the Classic Lion-O action figure from Bandai America Incorporated. *

Ebay seller gigaproshop has been listing auctions for the Thundercats Classics Tygra Prototype. There are no currently live auctions, but pre-production collectors will want to keep a close eye on this seller, as they have had a few listed (and sold quickly) over the last few days.

Thundercats.ws forum member Bravestarr has informed us that Mezco’s highly anticipated 14″ Mega Scale Lion-O is now shipping from Big Bad Toy Store. It is also beginning to pop-up on Ebay. One of those auctions gives us a look at the final packaged figure.
Icon Heroes has posted the first packaging photos for their upcoming Mumm-Ra Staction Figure. The window box comes with a Mumm-Ra’s Tomb backer display.
