Entertainment Earth has updated their ThunderCats 4-Inch Deluxe Wave 1 listing with some official in-package photos. The deluxe figures include a base and/or accessories that are magnet activated to interact with the figures. Deluxe 4-inch wave 1 includes the following figures:
• Grune
• Tygra
• Mumm-Ra
• Lion-O

Mezco‘s excellent 14″ Thundercats Mega Scale Lion-O is now available. You can buy it at your favorite online retailer, or hunt for it elsewhere. To help hold you over, Thundercats.ws forum member Talyn was kind enough to share some very nice photos of the figure.

After finally scoring some Thundercats toys (finally), I wanted to get up a detailed look at the Thundertank. As I had expected, the vehicle is an excellent display piece and goes well with the 4″ figures. It’s sturdy, has some nice play features and even some lights and sounds.

The first official sightings of Thundercats toys are in! Those of you in the Philadelphia area, start checking your Kmart stores. Thundercats.ws forum member friendship pony spotted the figures at a Feasterville, PA Kmart (also where I just got back from buying some of the figures myself).

Thanks to our excellent community we can confirm that figures have been spotted in Chicago and Forest Park, Illinois.

Thundercats.ws forum member Dedboy has tracked down some potentially useful info. He has provided us with the UPC and DPCI Numbers for soem of the Thundercats Toys, which you can use to find prices or inventory at many retailers.

Target had everything listed in their system, though no stock was shown at the checked stores. Toys “R” Us had both the Classics and 6″ modern Thundercats listed, though not available. Finally Kmart had the modern 6″ figures listed. Keep checking those stores and reporting your findings in our Thundercats Sightings Forum.
Earlier this week, Bandai sent out a press release claiming that the Thundercats Toys were released to retailers. They wanted to capitalize on any momentum the astounding premiere garnered. Our members initial searches seem to be turning up nothing at their favorite toy stores and aisles.

Check out a detailed photo shoot of Bandai’s Classics Lion-O Toys R Us Exclusive version. This was released at San Diego Comic Con by Toys R Us through the Entertainment Earth booth, and as well as TRU’s website soon after. They have since sold out.
This version has metallic paint, chrome weapons, a stand for Lion-O’s equipment (reminiscent of one seen in the original cartoon), along with detailing and weathering paint accents.
