We have a Thunderian mission for you East Coast fans if you are willing to accept it!

Being as we live and work on the show here in California and Japan, we heard that the Times Square Toy’s R’ Us has a big Thundercats toy display going right now. We are looking for one Thunderian warrior willing enough to snap some photos of it for us.

What we give you in return is nothing more than our appreciatio
.Screw it. We’ll give you a poster with the crews autograph how’s that sound? HO!”

It does look like someone has already completed the challenge, but it might not hurt to drop a few pics on their blog to help them out.

Forum member ssancho has found the Lion-O Thunder Racer at a Toys “R” Us store. this was found in New York. So east coasters, if you need something to do before you get rocked by a hurricane, then head out and check your stores. Remember, there are two Thunder Racers being released. One with Lion-O and one with Tygra. these are meant to go with the Thundertank.

It looks like the mildly anticipated Tower of Omens has made it’s way to stores. We have reports by multiple members who have spotted and/or picked it up at various stores. The best feature of this play set is the “invisible” 4″ Tygra that comes with it.

Lion-O was an excellent start to the Thundercats Classics line. Tygra has cemented it for me though. Let’s hope this isn’t the last figure we see in the line and that more come in the future. Here is a gallery of Thundercats Classics Tygra.

Check out our gallery of Mezco’s Thundercats 14″ Mega Scale Lion-O. It’s a lot more like a slightly poseable statue than a full blown figure. But, as you can see from the photos, Lion-O is extremely detailed and has some great paint applications.

Today we have a nice quick photo shoot of 6 inch Mumm Ra for you guys. This figure comes from the recently released Thundercats 2011 6 inch scale, which is based off the modern interpretation of the characters from the new show. (Classics are 8 inch scale).

New forum member Petar had contacted his local Toys “R” Us store, in Australia, to inquire about the Thundercats Toys. For those that don’t know, Australian Toys “R” Us stores actually import some toys from other countries. Australian Transformers fans know this well.

Unfortunately, it might not be great news for fans down under. According to this particular store, Thundercats Toys will not be released in Australia until mid-2012.

Two bits of good news for UK Thundercats fans in one day. I like this trend. Forum member Panthro UK has let us know that Bandai UK is confirming a release date for Thundercats Toys. They expected release day is December 1, 2011. While it is unfortunate our friends across the pond have to wait, at least we know how long the wait will be.
