Interesting Grune Observation

Posted on September 27, 2011 at 10:09 am by Joe Moore under Thundercats Toy News

Forum member krazycp has noticed something very interesting. If you look very closely at the chest symbol for some of the 4″ Deluxe Grune figures, you can see the Thundercats logo has been painted over with the Mumm-Ra symbol. He supplied a photo, where you can clearly see the outline of the Thundercats symbol. I have taken the image and highlighted where you can see the symbol.

Posted on August 26, 2011 at 9:44 am by Joe Moore under Thundercats Toy News

Forum member ssancho has found the Lion-O Thunder Racer at a Toys “R” Us store. this was found in New York. So east coasters, if you need something to do before you get rocked by a hurricane, then head out and check your stores. Remember, there are two Thunder Racers being released. One with Lion-O and one with Tygra. these are meant to go with the Thundertank.

Tower Of Omens Released

Posted on August 24, 2011 at 12:01 pm by Joe Moore under Thundercats Toy News

It looks like the mildly anticipated Tower of Omens has made it’s way to stores. We have reports by multiple members who have spotted and/or picked it up at various stores. The best feature of this play set is the “invisible” 4″ Tygra that comes with it.

If you’ve spotted this, or any other toys, be sure to let your fellow fans know by visiting our Thundercats Sightings Forum.

Australian News – Thundercats Not Coming Until 2012?

Posted on August 11, 2011 at 8:16 am by Joe Moore under Thundercats Toy News

New forum member Petar had contacted his local Toys “R” Us store, in Australia, to inquire about the Thundercats Toys. For those that don’t know, Australian Toys “R” Us stores actually import some toys from other countries. Australian Transformers fans know this well.

Unfortunately, it might not be great news for fans down under. According to this particular store, Thundercats Toys will not be released in Australia until mid-2012.

UK News – Thundercats Toys Launch Date

Posted on August 10, 2011 at 1:28 pm by Joe Moore under Thundercats Toy News

Two bits of good news for UK Thundercats fans in one day. I like this trend. Forum member Panthro UK has let us know that Bandai UK is confirming a release date for Thundercats Toys. They expected release day is December 1, 2011. While it is unfortunate our friends across the pond have to wait, at least we know how long the wait will be.

Thundercats 2011 Thundertank Photo Gallery

Posted on August 3, 2011 at 8:40 pm by Joe Moore under Thundercats Galleries, Thundercats Toy News

After finally scoring some Thundercats toys (finally), I wanted to get up a detailed look at the Thundertank. As I had expected, the vehicle is an excellent display piece and goes well with the 4″ figures. It’s sturdy, has some nice play features and even some lights and sounds.
