Warner Bros. has sent out a press release with a bit of new info for Thundercats 2011 as well as the Classic Thundercats. Here’s a quick breakdown:

Thundercats 2011
• Hour long special premiere Friday, July 29 at 8:00 PM EST
• Series will air on Friday’s at 8:30 PM EST starting August 5th
• Series premiere will air at Comic-Con followed by Q&A panel

Classic Thundercats
• Classic Thundercats marathon on Boomerang July 16 and 17
• Classic Thundercats 9-episode marathon on Cartoon Network July 23
• Classic Thundercats returns to syndication via Boomerang on Mondays at 5pm, starts July 18

Other Thundercats Info
• CartoonNetwork.com will launch “Thundera Run”, a free game, July 18
• A Thundercats “party pack” will be available for download from CartoonNetwork.com

WB has announced their panels for San Diego Comic-Con 2011. Thundercats fans who can make it will be in for a hell of a treat. They will be screening the premiere episode of the Thundercats 2011 cartoon!

FRIDAY, JULY 22, 20113:30–4:30 p.m. ThunderCats Premiere Episode Screening and Q&A – Comic-Con, Ho! From the moment this series was announced, fans have answered the call — now, the wait is finally over as Warner Bros. Animation is proud to bring the fans at Comic-Con the world premiere of this all-new reimagining of the beloved ’80s franchise. Lion-O, Tygra, Panthro, Cheetara, Wily Kit, Wily Kat and Snarf are back! After the screening, producers Michael Jelenic (Batman: The Brave and the Bold) and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender), art director Dan Norton (G.I. Joe: Resolute) and members of the voice cast will discuss what viewers can expect in the first season of this exciting new series. Entertainment Earth has added photos to some of their Thundercats 2011 toy listings. These new photos give us an official look at the Tower of Omens Deluxe Playset, the thunderBikes, the Lizard Canon and the Sword of Omens and Claw Gauntlet. They’ve also updated their Thunder Tank listing showing the ThunderBikes attached,

The ThunderBikes work with the Thunder Tank, and can launch from its claws. The vehicles and Tower of Omens are meant to work with the 4″ basic figures. You can see photos of all of the items by clicking the headline of the story.
