New forum member Petar had contacted his local Toys “R” Us store, in Australia, to inquire about the Thundercats Toys. For those that don’t know, Australian Toys “R” Us stores actually import some toys from other countries. Australian Transformers fans know this well.
Unfortunately, it might not be great news for fans down under. According to this particular store, Thundercats Toys will not be released in Australia until mid-2012.
Here at New Jersey Collectors Con the focus is on Collecting Action Figures! There are many other options for fans to attend shows but we like to think we present a unique event with the best toy dealers on the East Coast. Because our event is focused on the Toy Collector, we wanted to give back to the fans of our show by releasing the door prizes for the October 9th, 2011 NJCC TOYPOCALYPSE!

Two bits of good news for UK Thundercats fans in one day. I like this trend. Forum member Panthro UK has let us know that Bandai UK is confirming a release date for Thundercats Toys. They expected release day is December 1, 2011. While it is unfortunate our friends across the pond have to wait, at least we know how long the wait will be.
Thundercats.ws forum member Dedboy has tracked down some potentially useful info. He has provided us with the UPC and DPCI Numbers for soem of the Thundercats Toys, which you can use to find prices or inventory at many retailers.

Cartoon Network had a very nice Thundercats display at San Diego Comic-Con 2011. They had all of the previously announced Thundercats 2011 figures on display. They also had some of the original Thundercats toys on display, though it does not appear to be for reissues (bummer). There is a fantastic look at some of the casting masters used to create some of the upcoming role-play toys, as well as production notes on some of the toys.

Please keep in mind this is the larger deluxe version of the figure, as there will be a 4″ version available as well.
