Toy Fair 2011 Mezco 14 Inch Lion-O

Mezco was at Toy Fair 2011 and they showed off their upcoming mega sized Thundercats Lion-O. The 14″ Lion-O is based on the classic cartoon version and comes with a Sword of Omens.

Test Footage From CGI Thundercats Film

A few years ago, there was a feature length CGI and Live Action Thundercats film in development. Concept Art eventually leaked out, showing a more modern sci-fi take on the Thundercats lore. Today, courtesy of Flixlist, we have some fantastic test footage from the doomed project.

In the clip, we see a brash young Lion-O practicing his sword techniques. As he is swinging the Sword of Omens about, he is approached by Slythe and a quick battle ensues. Check out the footage below:

Thundercats NY Toy Fair 2011 Preview

Bandai provided us with new images and info for their upcoming Thundercats figures. The new pics include the first look at Thundercats 2011 figures Panthro and Tygra and new shots of Cheetara and Lion-O. We also have our very first look at Thundercats Classics Tygra!

Changes Releasing New Thundercats Shirts and More License Info

Licensed t-shirt manufacturer Changes is set to release some new Thundercats shirts. Thanks to the Thundercats 2011 Blog, we have learned that at “MAGIC“, Changes debuted two new shirts as part of a Warner Bros. licensee agreement.

While Warner was there to promote items for their upcoming Green Lantern Movie, they took time to announce two additional licensees. They announced that both Bioworld and Fast Forward, LLC have obtained licenses to produce Thundercats merchandise. 2011 is shaping up to be an amazing return for the ‘Cats.

PopCultureShock Looking For Cheetara Ideas
