Thundercats finally returns to the airwaves to kick off their second season. Episode 14 began with the Thundercats gaining momentum in their fight against Mumm-Ra‘s lizard army. But, with two new recruits, Mumm-Ra‘s army becomes more dangerous than they’ve been in a long time.

Warner Bros. has sent along new clips and images for Thundercats Episode 14 – New Alliances.
The Thundercats go on the offensive taking down Mumm-Ra’s lizard army piece by piece. Lion-O appeals to the soldiers to turn against their overlord, but Mumm-Ra won’t see his army crushed so easily. He tasks Slithe with recruiting two new and vicious Generals — Addicus and Kaynar — to retaliate against the cats. Meanwhile, the Robear Berbils make Panthro a new set of robotic arms and soop up the Thundertank.
Thundercats returns on an all new day and time. Episode 14 hits Saturday, March 24 at 9:30 AM EST.
Kat Nicholson, a comic colorist in the UK has posted on her DeviantArt Page that she is currently coloring a new Thundercats comic for a UK release! The comic will be based on the Modern Thundercats and is being drawn by artist Cosmo White.
NEW PROJECT – THUNDERCATS Comic!
As a reward to those of you who will bother to read this far (I know most wont! 😉 ) … remember that new project I alluded to but couldn’t give any more details on? … well… I can tell you what it is now… – I’ve been colouring the new Thundercats comic that’s out at the end of the month! It’s drawn by the amazing Cosmo White and the artwork’s looking really lush (if I do say so myself!) – it follows original stories featuring Lion-o and the gang from the new cartoon series (which I’m a huge fan of!) … I’m really excited to be working on it and I’ll show you a preview as soon as I’m able to! 😀

An epic, all new reimagining of the classic 1980s animated series, ThunderCats tells the story of a hero’s journey to fulfill his ultimate destiny. On Third Earth, the kingdom of Thundera is being threatened by the evil sorcerer Mumm-Ra, and Lion-O, the young heir to the throne, embarks on a great quest to take his rightful place as king. • Saturday, March 31: “The Trials of Lion-O Pt. 1” – Mumm-Ra’s generals ambush and, while the other cats are captured, Lion-O falls to his death. Thanks to the Spirit Stone, he encounters Jaga in the Astral Plane and is given a second chance at life. If he is able to pass a series of trials that pit him against each of his teammates, he can win back his life and save the other cats. First up are Kit and Kat, followed by Cheetara. But the clock is ticking because Mumm-Ra has the Sword of Omens!
Over at our sister site, TFW2005, forum member Airspeed has reported that new Thundercats episodes are airing in Ireland. New Alliances and Trials of Lion-O have aired.

Warner Home Video has revealed that there will finally be a Thundercats Season 1 book 2 DVD. The set will include 3 episodes that have not yet aired.
Lion-O, Tygra, Cheetara, Panthro, WilyKit & WilyKat continue their quest, now armed with the Book of Omens to lead the way. Watch Lion-O’s power and confidence grow as Mumm-Ra’s forces increase in these 8 action-packed episodes.
