We have received this week’s clips and preview images for this weeks episode of Thundercats. Episode 13 is title Between Brothers. It airs this Friday, November 25 at 8:30 PM EST on Cartoon Network.
Tygra and Lion-O enter the Astral Plane to retrieve the stone, but encounter Mumm-Ra in the process. Grune and Panthro have their final duel. Cheetara finally chooses her beau.

Warner Bros. has released the log line synopsis for Thundercats Episode 13: Between Brothers.
Tygra and Lion-O encounter Mumm-Ra. Cheetara picks her beau.
Also, they have officially released the title of episode 16. Unsurprisingly, it’s titled Trials of Lion-O (Part Two).
Lion-O and the Thundercats head back to the Elephant Village to find the stone. But Grune and the lizards have beaten them there. At the same time, Lion-O and Tygra’s rivalry begins to reach a breaking point.

We don’t normally front page threads from our Thundercats Buy/Sell/Trade Forum. Today we are making an exception for a very rare item. Forum member LiarDice Films, who previously supplied us with the art for our last contest, is selling a one-of-a-kind LJN prototype. It’s for an alternate, unused, sculpt of Mumm-Ra.
The piece is a one-of-a-kind LJN hardcopy of Mumm ra and is an amazing and unique alternative sculpture, which never made it to production. Most likely it was for a more ‘cartoon realistic’ version that possibly would have had the black cape attached to the hands and back. The owner of this had it cased up for protection and i do say it displays extremely well. Also has a COA (certificate of authenticity) with it.

The Cats are ready to retrieve the stone from the “Astral Plane” in the Elephant Village, but find it overtaken by Grunea and Mumm-Ra’s forces.

Big Bad Toy Store has posted their pre-order for the upcoming Mega Scale Mumm-Ra. Like Mezco’s Lion-O before it, this stands at approximately 14 inches tall. It is due for release in March 2012, with BBTS pricing it at $34.99. You can check out the pre-order Here.

MTV Geek grabs another first look at some upcoming Thundercats toys. This time is for the highly anticipated Storm Charger and the Armor of Omens.
Interview Highlights
• Both are meant to be used with the 4 inch line
• Storm Charger originally planned as minor role in show, role expanded due to striking design
• Packed-In Mumm-Ra’s hands become light up feature on Storm Charger (see pics)
• Armor of Omens includes gold 4 inch Lion-O
• Armor of Omens thunderlynx features light up eyes and phrases including: “Thunder, Thunder, Thunder, ThunderCats Hooo!”
• Gold Lion-O is part of the story
• Hinted heavily that the Armor of Plun-darr will see a toy release

MTV Geek got an exclusive interview and first look at a bunch of new figures coming in 2012. the new images give us our first look at the new 6 inch Thundercats Classics figures, which look to simply be scaled down versions of the 8 inch designs. Some highlights from the interview are as follows:
• The Thundercats 6″ Classics will replace the 8″ line at retail

• Classics Mumm-Ra based on the original 80’s animation model
• The 6″ Thundercats 2011 line will feature variants and repaints based on changing appearances in the show
• Looks like the black ball joints are out on future 6″ Thundercats 2011 releases
• Some of the planned 2012 figures could be on store shelves as soon as December 2011
