Thundercats Short To Air December 6

Cartoon Network’s Thundercats Site lists a new short to air December 6 at 6:58 PM EST on Cartoon Network. The 2-minute Thundercats short is called Snarf: Butterflies Blues.

Thundercats Short Revealed By Larry Kenney

In an interview with MTV Geek at PowerCon, veteran Thundercats voice actor Larry Kenney teased a Thundercats 2-minute short. The short, he says, revolves around a young King Claudus and a baby Lion-O with Snarf. That’s all he revealed. However, there are numerous video interviews with Kenney, check them out below.

Thundercats 2011 2-Disc DVD Announced

Well that was fast. TV Shows On DVD has posted a press release from Warner Home Video announcing the Thundercats Season One – Book One 2-Disc DVD Set. The set is scheduled for release October 18, 2011 at a MSRP of $19.97. Included is an announcement trailer.

SDCC Thundercats Sword of Omens (Real and Foam)

Thanks to the WB’s Comic Con page, we have some new info on a contest and giveaway planned for San Diego Comic Con.

They have commissioned one life sized replica of the Sword of Omens from the new Thundercats television show. That will be given away to one lucky fan at SDCC.

They will also be giving away foam versions of the replica on Friday and Sunday at the Warner Brothers booth.
