Unfortunately, nothing of note came out of the UK Toy Fair for Thundercats fans. That will likely change when the North American Toy Fair begins in just a few short weeks. For now, Toy New Magazine’s Facebook Page added some pics from the show. We’ve mirrored the Thundercats pics for easy browsing.

Bandai UK has posted a video on YouTube of their Augmented Reality Packaging. The video shows how you will be able to use a mobile device (so long as it has a camera) to check out a full view of a toy without taking it out of the packaging. They use Lion-O to showcase how it can work. Check it out below.

Forum member TIGER007 informs us of a conversation he had with Bandai USA. They initially informed him that a licensing issue was preventing Thundercats products from coming to Canada (save for some that slipped into stores before the issue arose). Now he has learned that the figures will be hitting stores in August as the issue appears to have been resolved.

The 6-inch Thundercats Classics Lion-O and Mumm-Ra have officially been released. I personally found them at Target in December. Forum member Jlogano20 spotted them as well. Target, of all places, is the hot spot to check for these. On a different note TARGET IS NOW CARRYING THUNDERCATS IN STORES! And it’s about time.
We will have a full review and gallery soon.

Forum member ToodlesMrJim was kind enough to share even more photos of the Thundercats Classics 6-Inch Mumm-Ra and Lion-O. While not officially scheduled until Spring 2012, the figures have been slowly making their way to collectors via various auctions and stores.
